Kids’ Corner’s Events
Giving Tuesday 2026
Giving Tuesday is our biggest online fundraiser of the year — and everyone can make a difference! Our campaign will open November 16th until December 1st!
As a 501(c) (3) non-profit, your monthly tuition supports our daily operations, but it does not fully cover the enriching extras that make Kids’ Corner so special — like field trips, live performances, and upgrades to our technology and learning spaces.
Your Giving Tuesday donation helps bring these memorable experiences to life for the kids we care for.
Your donations help make this program possible , and this Giving Tuesday is a way to give back and ensure that Kids' Corner continues to make a difference in the lives of Winchester families.
No gift is too big or too small — every contribution counts and is a vote of confidence in our program.
Thank you for supporting Kids’ Corner!
Kids’ Corner’s mission is to nurture compassionate and confident youth through exceptional and engaging out-of-school programs. The Winchester After School Program, Inc. d.b.a. Kids' Corner, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has proudly served Winchester families since 1982.
In addition to our After School Program, Kids’ Corner offers programming to the entire community during summer, vacation weeks, and many WPS professional development days. Kids’ Corner advocates for the needs of working parents in Winchester, and reaches out through community service to support local causes like the Woburn Council of Social Concern, En Ka Society food pantry, annual caroling at Mount Vernon House, disaster relief fundraisers, and student-led charity efforts each year.
Your generous donations from last year funded:
Over 20+ field trips to places like Omni Theater, Funworld, Battleship Cove, Urban Air, McIntyre Ski Area, Sandmagination, mPower Athletics, Chunky’s Movie Theater, Smolak Farms & Fenway Park, just to name a few (Average cost of field trip: $1000)
A special performance of Hansel & Gretel from the talented Tanglewood Marionettes. (Average cost of performance: $1000)
A staff safety professional development training (Average cost of training: $2300)
New security system installed (Average cost of upgrade: $7000) and new flooring (Average cost of upgrade: $4500)
This year donations will go toward supporting this year’s amazing field trips, staff professional development workshops, and technology/building upgrades.
How to Participate & Our Goal:
Matching gifts are a great way to support our mission! Every gift will be matched dollar for dollar with a matching gift! Let us know if your family or company would be willing to join the match game!
Our goal this year is to reach 75% participation across the program!
Venmo: @Kids-Corner-1 - Please place a ♥️ next to your donation so that we can categorize your donation accordingly.
Our website which now offers credit card, and company matching this year!
Kids’ Corner is grateful that many of our families took advantage of corporate matching and other employee giving programs last year, and directed over $6500 (25% of the total raised) in additional funds to us! If you decide to company match through a different means, please contact Andrew so that we can match your donation to your information in our database. Thank you!

Epic Night Out
Come have a great night out with your friends and neighbors: enjoy food, drinks, dancing, games and raffles, while supporting the Kids’ Corner community. We promise you will have a blast!
Kids’ Corner is a parent-sponsored, independent nonprofit, and Epic Night Out is our primary annual fundraising event. Most of the great things we do for our families and community are supported by tuition, but the proceeds of this event help us to do even more great stuff, and invest in the children, staff, and program through upgrades in equipment, technology, training, supplies, curriculum, and STEAM initiatives. Our last Epic Night Out event raised nearly $10,000 which helped us invest in replacing our aging fleet of student MacBooks, energy-efficient motion-sensored faucets and a new water filling station!
Grab your dance partner, line up your sitter, and join us to help Kid’s Corner continue its tradition of fostering a creative and innovative learning environment for its students.
Need childcare? Contact Andrew about Saturday Night Out, 6:30-10:30

Giving Tuesday Fundraiser
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is here! It’s Giving Tuesday!
Our Goal: We are aiming for 75% participation from all of our current program families! Last year, we were able to reach 71% participation across the program. Our main goal with this fundraiser remains broad participation. No amount is too big or too small.
If a classroom reaches 65% participation within their room, the kids will earn a pizza party! If you have children in more than one classroom, each room gets credit with your donation!
Additionally, we have two amazingly gracious matching gifts this year. Every gift will be matched dollar for dollar with a matching gift from the Lee Family and an anonymous
family, up to $5,000 in total. Incredible! Let us know if your family or company would be willing to join the match game!
Impact from last year’s Giving Tuesday funds:
Last year, the average donation was $165. With our funds from last year, we were able to:
Provide a STEM Museum of Science workshop & a MAPS classroom behavior management
workshop for our teachers (total: $2,825)Update our security system and install new carpeting (total: $8,700)
The students went on four program-wide field trips on Early Release Days (average cost
of each field trip ($1,041)The students enjoyed four special performances during Early Release Days (average cost
of each performance: $1,043)
How to Participate:
Parents, relatives ,and friends love that it’s very easy to participate and give back to the program! Here are the avenues to donate:
