All of our events are planned and executed by our Marketing & Development Director, volunteers from the Parent Board of Directors, and other Kids’ Corner parent volunteers.

We offer three different types of events during the school year: Community Events, Fundraisers, and Parent Board of Director Events.

Community Events are to foster relationship building and a sense of community for KC families. All KC families and the greater community are invited to participate in these events. There are 2 family-friendly events that we host: Halloween Movie Night (early October) & PJ Bingo Night (late January).

Fundraisers allow us to raise funds for professional development for teachers, building upgrades, technology upgrades, STEAM initiatives, and more! All Kids’ Corner families and the greater community are invited to donate. There are 2 fundraisers that we host: Giving Tuesday (our primary fundraiser offered online during the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving), and Epic Night Out (caregiver-only event in early spring).

ParentBoard of Directors Events are planned and organized by the Parent Board of Directors and are social community events for building a supportive network among parents and ultimately amplifying Kids’ Corner’s mission. There are 2 Parent Board events that are planned each year that our current After School Program families and our incoming families are invited to attend: Parent Social (caregivers-only September/October), and Family Pizza Picnic (family-friendly in June).

We welcome all families in the community to attend our events unless otherwise noted.
At our events, we have a nice mix of families from our current After School Program, incoming/waitlist families, and some curious outside families as well.

Families/caregivers wishing to attend our events MUST register in advance on Sawyer. See the Sawyer links at the bottom of our Events page on our website.
Registration for events open summer/early fall before the upcoming school year.
No walk-ins are allowed. Each listing has an individual RSVP date.

In order to have our events run smoothly, and to ensure we have enough volunteers/staff and food, we do not allow walk-ins.

The cost of events varies depending upon the event. We try to keep entry prices low so that more people can participate. Please see individual Sawyer listing for more details about each event.

What is Sawyer? Sawyer is the website that we use that has online registration for our enrichments, programs and events. Making an account for your family is easy and free. Once you have created your profile, you can sign up for our programs and pay using your credit card on your account.
